The pressure

The business was connected by people. Its systems were not.

Estimating, materials, purchasing, delivery, field evidence, claims and finance all carried part of the truth. No single system could show the state of a job from the rate used in an estimate through to the material received, work delivered and claim supported.

The opportunity was larger than automating individual workflows. It was to give the organisation a shared operating model of the business without forcing it to replace the systems already doing useful work.

What Cylentis built

The dimensionality of the business, made operational.

Cylentis mapped the organisation’s jobs, materials, suppliers, estimates, delivery events, claims and commercial evidence as connected operating objects. Purpose-built work surfaces then translated that model into decisions for each team.

Materials and procurement

Demand, stock, receipts, supplier rates and job-level buying decisions connected in one commercial-control view.

Estimating and delivery

Specification, take-off, historical pricing, purchase commitments and field evidence carried forward through the job lifecycle.

Claims and commercial control

Evidence, hold points, variations, supplier commitments and claim readiness made visible before value is lost.

What became possible

Questions could be answered across the business, not inside one department.

The operating model now carries the rate used in an estimate through purchasing, materials, delivery evidence and claim readiness, making the commercial state of work visible across functional boundaries.

Teams can surface rate variance, uncommitted demand, stock exposure and missing claim evidence before those signals disappear inside disconnected operational records.
